“What do you see when you look into my eyes?” I asked breathlessly and not entirely sure where the question had come from.
“All there is to know,” was his reply. “What do you see when you look into my eyes, Brooke?” he whispered, there was a slight anger to his voice.
I trembled. “An abyss and danger,” was all I could say.

The quest to find a good Domme romance can be treacherous and dangerous, full of characterless protagonists, typos, undesirable kinks (for me), cold-hearted women, miserable and psychologically damaged men and women, and did I mention effing typos?
After reading several unsatisfying stories and novels, I concluded that unlike the saturated alpha male niche, the alpha female niche was just too underserved and risky to keep venturing into.
But sometimes the mood still hits. This time my quest was fruitful. Servicing the Target is without a doubt the best alpha female romance I’ve ever read.

We all love to read about the bad boys even if we’d never want to date them in real life. There’s something incredibly sexy about the dangerous and mysterious. And come on, we’re all romantics at heart. We always want to see the best in people, no matter how grim their reputations are. Here’s a list of books that can satiate our desire for bad boys.

Hey everyone! I’m doing another giveaway, this time for Valentine’s Day. All you need to do is answer this question: What are you doing for Valentine’s Day?
I know on Valentine’s Day I’m probably going to be doing homework. My boyfriend is coming down to Boston for that weekend, but he’s leaving on Valentine’s Day because he has work the next day (and we both have homework). My guess is my Valentine’s Day will involve a nice breakfast with my boyfriend, a tearful goodbye, and (in an unromantic turn of events) a major study session in the library wearing my shabbiest yet most comfortable clothes and toting a travel mug and thermos of tea as well as a water bottle. Oh yeah. I live the high life.

“We should feel nothing toward her, yet I’m drawn to her– as powerfully as I’m drawn to you.”
If you’ve been reading Lover’s Quarrel reviews, then you know how much I love plot and character with my sex scenes. I mean, look at how much I hate The Doctor’s Slave compared to Mine for Tonight when they (very) roughly have the same concept. The scarcity of plot in erotica can be particularly vexing when I’m in the mood for a MMF threesome. (Doesn’t happen often, but even then I want some plot and good characters.)
The Queen’s Consorts definitely delivered. Continue reading “Book Review: The Queen’s Consorts by Kele Moon”
It can be a good thing, but at the same time it can ruin relationships or at the very least cause fights and angst. Simon and Kara haven’t totally figured out how to deal with their money, even though they are engaged. Kara is still self-conscious about the income gap between them and wants a prenup. Simon is worried that Kara doesn’t think that he trusts her and wants to do anything and everything to prove that he does. Then there’s the little matter of Kara’s pregnancy.

Like Mine for Tonight and Mine for Now, Mine Forever is a fantastic erotic romance.
What do you do when the love of your life is almost kidnapped by druggies? You do everything you can to convince her to come home with you, of course. Which is exactly what Simon does with Kara. But even with Kara reluctantly living with Simon again, things aren’t perfect. Kara won’t accept anything less than a relationship and Simon is still trying to figure out how to be in one. Can Simon put his past behind him so he can finally have happiness with Kara?
